Areas of Practice

Marissa joined the firm in February 2024 as a Law Clerk and began working as an Associate Attorney in October 2024. She practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and employment law.

Marissa earned her Juris Doctor from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she was a Dean’s List honoree and received a Dean’s Scholarship for academic achievement. During law school, she was actively involved in various organizations, including serving as Vice President of the New Lawyers Association and President of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. She also worked as a law clerk for the Washington County Attorney’s Office and as a Legal Intern for SPS Commerce’s in-house legal department. Prior to law school, Marissa worked as a Contract Analyst for Optum in Chicago, Illinois.

Outside of work, Marissa enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
